Dear Diary,
To
celebrate Jeff turning 50, I booked a trip for two to the Four Seasons
in Punta Mita. For 5 nights and 6 days we slept in, laid on the beach,
swam, shopped, walked (a lot) and surfed. We loved the quiet and beauty
of the resort. One afternoon we walked a few miles to town, then took a
bus to Puerto Vallarta to shop. Another day Jeff found a spot a couple
miles down to surf. The food was soooo good. The weather was warm and
humid. Our room was luxurious and comfortable. It was a wonderful
peaceful getaway and a chance for us to enjoy each other and our
surroundings. Our honeymoon like getaway was worth every penny! So
thankful for our experience!
Breakfast every morning with this beautiful view.
Our beach.
Loved the restaurants.
Loved the ocean.
Green, green, green.
Welcome to my life! Woman, Wife, Mom of 4, I enjoy living a good life, feeling fulfilled in mind, spirit and body, knowing my family is happy and striving to be a better person. Thank you for taking an interest in me and may my experiences inspire you to live a good life!

TBT Our Trip To Bali
Dear Diary,
I was reminiscing about my 1999 trip to Bali with Jeff. We'd been together a year when he left early for a surfing boat trip. I joined him a week later for 10 days of beach, sun, shopping, exploring and falling in love. Although these pictures are somewhat grainy and old, I love them because they make my memories vivid. It's a nice feeling to reflect and look back at a time when things were new and exciting. Bali is magical. It blends spectacular mountain scenery and beautiful beaches with warm and friendly people, a vibrant culture and serene beautiful resorts. I loved our stay at the Nikko Hotel and day trips to Uluwatu, Nusa Dua, Dreamland, Kuta and Padang Padang. We went back once shortly after Josette was born and I dream about the day we return. Awe, to be young and carefree again... I don't want to go back in time, just to try and have that same mindset... open, curious, carefree and adventurous. I'm very grateful for my past travels and experiences and so glad to have shared them with the one I love!
