Wine Tasting in Santa Ynez

Dear Diary,
We celebrated Sherry and Missy's birthdays wine tasting in Santa Ynez.  We played slots at Chumash Casino and visited Sunstone, Brander and Roblar Wineries.  We had the best dinner at Root 246 in Solvang, danced at Mavericks and caught up on all the happenings of our busy lives.  Couldn't ask for anything more... beautiful weather, big winnings, best friends and great memories.  Let's make it a tradition and do it again next year!

Gratitude Journal

Dear Diary,
Today I'm grateful for my best friend Sherry.  Our story started 30+ years ago in 7th grade.  We've watched each other grow up, get married, have babies, start a business and travel together.  We laugh, we cry, we share everything and have tons of fun together.  We have each others back and know we can trust one another.  I feel blessed and lucky to have her in my life.  She makes me smile and fills my heart with joy.  Sherry is a treasure and a definite friend for life!

Mike's Birthday

Dear Diary,
Jeff and I spent last Saturday in Westlake Village celebrating Mike's 50th birthday with Heather & Mike and their close friends.  We're no longer attending 40th birthday parties but have graduated to the half century mark.  We met some nice people, enjoyed the Mexican cuisine and loved spending time with John & Sherry and Heather & Mike.

Blush Fashion Show

Dear Diary,
I've been helping Sherry a lot lately working her boutique parties, grand openings and home clothing shows.  Last week my sis Cathy and I joined her for the Annual Calabasas Fashion Show and Wine Tasting Event.  I was so glad to bring Cathy along as it gave us time together to catch up (drink wine) and have a few laughs! With her busy life with 5 kids and mine with 4, it's rare these days to sneak away mid week and spend an evening out.  Blush outfitted us and Salon Nuuvo did hair and make up for the event.  The outside venue was switched to indoors due to the rain but all went well and the turn out was great.  I love supporting Blush Boutique and my BFF and love spending time with these beautiful women!

Big Bear Quickie

Dear Diary,
We made the most of our 24 hour trip to Big Bear.  We squeezed in family time, visiting with my bestie, games, shopping, dinner, jacuzzi and The Village.  Although Josette wasn't feeling well, she made the trek in good spirits.  We always enjoy spending time with our good friends.  Thank you Sherry and John for hosting a great weekend and hope to do it again next year!
