Wine Tasting in Santa Ynez

Dear Diary,
We celebrated Sherry and Missy's birthdays wine tasting in Santa Ynez.  We played slots at Chumash Casino and visited Sunstone, Brander and Roblar Wineries.  We had the best dinner at Root 246 in Solvang, danced at Mavericks and caught up on all the happenings of our busy lives.  Couldn't ask for anything more... beautiful weather, big winnings, best friends and great memories.  Let's make it a tradition and do it again next year!

Gratitude Journal

Dear Diary,
Today I'm grateful for my best friend Sherry.  Our story started 30+ years ago in 7th grade.  We've watched each other grow up, get married, have babies, start a business and travel together.  We laugh, we cry, we share everything and have tons of fun together.  We have each others back and know we can trust one another.  I feel blessed and lucky to have her in my life.  She makes me smile and fills my heart with joy.  Sherry is a treasure and a definite friend for life!

Girls Night

I had so much fun with my besties celebrating my birthday!  Sweet Angie planned everything... a night at The Balboa Bay Club, drinks and apps at A&O then dinner at 3-Thirty-3.  I feel very lucky and fortunate to have great friends who I love spending time with, are always there for me and are kind and wonderful women.  They make me smile and always give me perspective and insight.  Thank you Angie, Sherry, Jaime and Cathy for taking time out of your busy schedules to make time for me!

Sisters Are Forever

These are mine... Cathy and Ann.  We share a special bond between us... a shared past and many experiences that molded our personalities.  We understand one another like no one else can and share secrets and thoughts that we choose to keep amongst ourselves.  Although we do have the occasional conflict, we always work together to get through it because we realize we're there for each other for life!  My sisters and I understand the importance of our bond and cherish the memories we share and always look forward to making new ones.  I love that our kids are close and love the sense of family they share.  Just the mere existence of my sisters is comforting and our availability to one another is what matters most.  Side by side or miles apart, we are sisters connected by the heart.
