Sunday Recap

Dear Diary,
Had a great day celebrating Mother's Day!  The kids spoiled me with homemade cards and pictures... my favorite kind!  I cried tears of joy in Church watching my girls sing. Then they took me to dinner with Ginny and Gene to Avenue Italy.  I'm grateful for my happy healthy family and appreciate my beautiful life!

 

They're not only cute...

But sweet as can be.  And I'm not just saying that because I'm their mom... well yes I am!  But it's true!  They're mine and they're perfect and I love spending everyday with Josette, Gigi, Jessie Joy and Van.  Thank you for making my life truly complete!

My Mom

Dear Diary,
My beautiful mom, Janet Hertzing.  I love her for so many reasons.  She's loving, caring, strong and full of grace.  She's always there for me, even stays up late nights listening attentively.  She knows what to say to make me feel better.  I thank her for instilling in me good morals and raising me to be respectful and respect myself.  She's encouraging and sometimes kicks my butt into gear.  She's happy for me and loves me unconditionally.  My mom has always pushed me to do my best and her support has always put my worries to rest.  I love you Mom!

Anniversary Dinner

Married 14 years, together 18!  That's something special in my book!  I love my husband and I really like him too.  Jeff's an honest, loyal, smart, strong, handsome and loving man.  Our relationship has grown over the years through communication and shared values.  We value our relationship and work hard to keep it strong.  When we disagree, we eventually try to see the others point of view and come to an agreement... even if it's to agree to disagree.  We value God and our family and ultimately want the best for our children through His teachings.  It's not always easy, but I know Jeff has my back and I have his.  Our relationship with each other and our relationship with our children is a work in progress and I think we've come a long way.  Having God in our lives has made us stronger knowing He's always there to help us along the way.   I'm so thankful to have Jeff as my husband, best friend, father of my children and life partner.  I'm one lucky girl!!!

Blush Party

Had fun playing dress up and selling Blush Boutique's Spring Collection at a Sherman Oaks house party with my BFF Sherry.  I always love spending time with Sherry and adding a few new pieces to my wardrobe.

Hello Pink Moon

Although the full moon tonight doesn't actually change colors, April's full moon is called a pink moon referring to the first flowers of spring.  Many full moon names originated with different Native American tribes who used the moon to mark the seasons. The light of the moon sometimes shines in my bedroom window.  It is magical, mysterious and beautiful.  Personally, the full moon to me is a symbol of hope and protection... the light in the darkness.  She is the face of a mother looking down on us... loving, warm and nurturing.
